“The Young Congolese Entrepreneurs Fair: a springboard for success and innovation”

The “Le Parrain” Foundation has just held the second edition of the Salon des Jeunes Entrepreneurs Congolais, on June 1, 2023 in the city of Lubumbashi. Thanks to the intervention of the Vice-Governor of the province of Haut-Katanga, this meeting, which aimed to inspire young people to engage in entrepreneurship, was a great success.

The President of the “Le Parrain” Foundation, Passy MUKOMA, sent a video message to young Congolese entrepreneurs, asking them to take as a model of success the entrepreneurs who started from nothing and have today become the bosses of successful and growing SMEs.

The “Le Parrain” Foundation thus offered the opportunity to five young people who participated in the first edition of its fair in Kinshasa to present their projects in front of a panel of professionals and to benefit from funding in the amount of 10,000 dollars. for starting their business.

Armed with this funding and supported by experts from the “Le Parrain” Foundation, these young Congolese entrepreneurs engage in entrepreneurship with conviction, at a time when the Democratic Republic of Congo is banking on the private sector to meet the challenges of economic growth and job creation.

The “Le Parrain” Foundation aims to be the incubator of various projects that highlight young Congolese entrepreneurs and create opportunities for young people. The next step of this initiative of the “Le Parrain” foundation will be the promotion of Congolese youth in another region of the DRC.
