“The DRC launches an international call for tenders for the acquisition of computer equipment for the Technical Committee for the monitoring and evaluation of reforms”

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is launching an international call for tenders for the acquisition of computer equipment for the Technical Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of Reforms (CTR). This supply market will make it possible to supply laptops, fixed or tower computers, printers and inverters. The CTR invites tenders from eligible and qualified candidates to supply a single batch of this equipment.

Candidates must provide administrative, financial and technical evidence to meet the requirements of the contract. In particular, they must present a harmonized National Identification number 2022, a copy of the certificate of affiliation to the CNSS and proof of payment of contributions for the months of March, April and May 2023, a registration number in the new Register of Commerce et des Crédits Mobiliers, and the notarial statutes of the company. They must also present financial statements certified by an accountant approved by ONEC for the following three years: 2021, 2020 and 2019, an average annual turnover equivalent to at least one (1) time the amount of the offer and have a line of credit with a viable bank equivalent to 5% of the amount of the offer.

With regard to the technical requirements, candidates must submit a list of references for similar projects and written proof that the supplies offered comply with the technical specifications indicated in the tender dossier.

Interested candidates can obtain a complete tender dossier by submitting a written request. Bids must be submitted no later than June 29, 2023 at 11 a.m. local time to the address of the Technical Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of Reforms (CTR) in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.

In addition, the DRC is currently facing other challenges at the national level. Citizen movements denounce the restriction of civic space and electoral pressure, while the International Criminal Court is investigating crimes against humanity in the province of Ituri. The deputies and senators of “Together for the Republic” also called for the release of political prisoners and an end to the dictatorship, while Julienne Lusenge was appointed deputy coordinator of the National Monitoring Mechanism of the Accord- framework of Addis Ababa in the DRC, a step forward for the representation of women in the consolidation of peace
