Youth is an essential pillar for the development of a country. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, the issue of youth and their future is at the heart of concerns. This is why Mr. Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba, leader and youth coach, has designed a youth recovery plan to enable the latter to be in line with the objectives of the Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo. .
This recovery plan, entitled “Operation Desert Storm”, is based on 7 axes which represent the major challenges facing Congolese youth. These axes are:
1. Agriculture and Rurality Axis: Promote agriculture and rural development to provide employment and income opportunities to young people in rural areas.
2. Juvenile delinquency and depravity of morals axis: Fight against juvenile delinquency and promote moral and ethical values to preserve the integrity of youth.
3. Youth, Population and Development Axis: Promote the participation of young people in political, economic and social life in order to contribute to the development of the country.
4. Youth, Culture and New Citizenship Axis: Promoting Congolese culture and promoting active and responsible citizenship among young people.
5. Youth and Gender Axis: Fight against gender discrimination and promote equal opportunities for young women, by offering them the same opportunities as young men.
6. Youth axis, Partnership for Development: Foster collaboration between the various stakeholders (government, civil society, private sector) to set up projects and initiatives beneficial to youth.
7. Youth Axis and Institutional and Technical Capacity Building: Strengthen the capacities of institutions and structures dedicated to youth for better consideration of their needs and aspirations.
The objectives of the youth recovery plan are to strengthen institutional, technical and operational capacities, both at the level of government authorities and youth organizations. It also aims to promote the inclusion and active participation of young people in all spheres of society.
Hervé Tansia, drawing on his experience as a former collaborator of Madame Chantal Mulop and adviser to the Minister of Youth, INC and CN, affirms that the implementation of this recovery plan will make it possible to transform Congolese youth and contribute to a better Congo.
In conclusion, the youth recovery plan proposed by Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba represents an important initiative to respond to the challenges facing Congolese youth. By targeting key areas and advocating capacity building, this plan offers promising prospects for the future of youth and the country as a whole.. All that remains is to implement this plan with determination and commitment to ensure a balanced and sustainable development of youth in the Democratic Republic of Congo
