Compliance check extended to subcontracting companies in several provinces in the DRC
President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo recently announced his agreement to continue the campaign to control subcontracting activities in companies subject to this regulation. After starting in Kinshasa, this campaign will now cover the provinces of Haut-Katanga, Lualaba, Kasai, Sud-Kivu and Haut-Uele.
During a meeting with the Director General of the Private Sector Subcontracting Regulatory Authority (ARSP), Miguel Kashal, President Tshisekedi expressed his support for these compliance checks. Miguel Kashal also announced the forthcoming publication of a detailed report on the results of the campaign.
It has been confirmed that this compliance monitoring campaign will extend to other provinces of the country, in order to ensure that subcontracting companies comply with the laws in force. The objective is to position Congolese companies in the field of subcontracting and to guarantee their competitiveness. President Tshisekedi has clearly stated that he is in favor of the strict application of the law in this area.
The ARSP is currently conducting compliance checks in various sectors of the national economy, such as infrastructure, telecommunications, breweries and aeronautics. Thanks to these checks, it will be possible to verify that companies comply with the standards and regulations in force, which will help to strengthen investor confidence and promote a healthy economic environment.
