Youth recovery plan in the Democratic Republic of Congo focusing on agriculture, juvenile delinquency, development, culture, gender, partnership for development and strengthening the institutional and technical capacities of the Ministry of Youth.
Ka-Be, Kinshasa Hotel – On July 26, 2023, the youth recovery plan in the Democratic Republic of Congo was presented, designed by Mr. Hervé Tansia Wa Ntumba, a leader and youth coach. This ambitious plan aims to enable Congolese youth to align themselves with the objectives of the Head of State, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, in order to implement his program with a visible impact on the population. Entitled “Operation Desert Storm”, this plan is based on 7 fundamental axes that address the major issues facing Congolese youth.
The first axis focuses on agriculture and rurality. It aims to promote agriculture as a driver of economic development, encouraging young people to engage in the agricultural sector and setting up training and support programs for young farmers.
The second axis deals with juvenile delinquency and depravity of morals. This involves implementing preventive, educational and repressive actions to combat violence and delinquency among young people, as well as promoting ethical and moral values.
The third axis concerns youth, population and development. It aims to encourage the active involvement of young people in development initiatives and to raise their awareness of the importance of their role in building their community and the country.
The fourth axis emphasizes youth, culture and new citizenship. It consists of promoting cultural diversity and creativity among young people, as well as strengthening their sense of belonging to their country and their civic engagement.
The fifth axis addresses the issue of gender, by implementing actions aimed at promoting equality between men and women, combating discrimination and encouraging the participation of young women in all areas of society.
The sixth axis concerns partnership for development, by encouraging collaboration between the different actors of society, such as NGOs, companies and government bodies, to set up development projects and programs beneficial to Congolese youth. .
Finally, the seventh axis aims to strengthen the institutional and technical capacities of the ministry in charge of youth, as well as associated structures. It is about developing the skills and resources needed to implement the youth recovery plan in an effective and sustainable manner.
This youth recovery plan in the Democratic Republic of Congo aims to strengthen institutional, technical and operational capacities, both at the level of the Ministry of Youth and youth networks and organizations. It also aims to promote better participation of young Congolese in development initiatives and to create an environment conducive to their development and their positive contribution to society.
Hervé Tansia, drawing on his experience as a collaborator of Mrs. Chantal Mulop, adviser to the Head of State on youth, gender and the fight against human trafficking, as well as his role as adviser of the Minister of Youth, INC and CN, Yves Bunkulu Zola, believes in the importance of this recovery plan for the future of Congo. He is convinced that if this plan is put into practice, it will make it possible to create a better Congo, where the youth can fully blossom and contribute to the development of the country.
In conclusion, the youth recovery plan in the Democratic Republic of the Congo offers a comprehensive and ambitious approach to address the challenges faced by Congolese youth
