Free education in DR Congo remains a priority for President Félix Tshisekedi who recently decreed this measure. In the process, the PERSE project (Project for equity and strengthening the education system) aims to support this initiative by offering better mobility to the provincial deputy directors of EPST (Primary, secondary and technical education).
Last Wednesday, the PERSE project handed over 30 motorcycles to the provincial deputy directors of EPST Kasaï 1 and 2, to enable them to move more easily within their jurisdiction. However, the PERSIA focal point in Tshikapa, capital of Kasai province, insisted on the correct and reserved use of these devices in the education sector.
In the same vein, the governor of the province of Kasaï who presided over the ceremony of handing over these devices, invited the deputy provincial directors of the EPST and their suite to make good use of them. He, however, criticized some managers or Under-Proved for making their job more complex.
PERSE thus wants to contribute to the strengthening of free education promoted by President Félix Tshisekedi. In recent times, many measures have been taken to improve the education sector in DR Congo. The objective is to achieve the development of Congolese youth and ensure a better future for them.
