“The management of effluents in Kasai: an edit proposal for a healthy environment”

The management of fluvial and domestic effluents is a subject of major concern for the province of Kasai. Evidenced by the proposed edit tabled by a provincial deputy to provide the province with an effective tool to manage the environment.

According to Olivier Tombé, provincial deputy, the atmospheric conditions have led to a negative transformation of the environmental fabric. This situation has generated many problems such as erosion heads everywhere, hydraulic diseases and poor management of domestic water. The proposed edit that has been tabled is therefore a necessary measure to correct these problems.

This proposal will allow the province of Kasai to comply with parliamentary obligations in terms of legislation on environmental management. If adopted, it will be the first edict to deal with management mechanisms for stormwater and domestic effluents in this province.

The Provincial Deputy called for collaboration and respect for these mechanisms once they have been adopted by the Provincial Assembly. This approach is commendable because it will also make it possible to empower the local population on the need to preserve the environment.

Ultimately, the management of fluvial and domestic effluents is a major challenge for the province of Kasai. This proposed edit is a long-awaited measure to correct the many environmental problems facing the province.
