Politics in the DRC is always a source of tension and debate. Recent events prove it even more. Indeed, after an opposition march that degenerated into violence, the political party “Piste Pour l’Émergence” held its first ordinary congress with the theme: “the DRC is no longer without a track, track is you, Piste is us, Piste is Emergence”.
This party has a strong conviction in a liberal humanism based on individual responsibility, democracy, human rights and the market economy, as well as in the ambition to conquer and exercise political power to establish a rule of law that will overcome division and exclusion in the management of the Republic.
According to Seth Kikuni, the number of the party, the Congolese is always considered to be in a cage, without dignity, without justice, poor in a Congo which despite all its wealth is not always beautiful. From this observation was born a doctrine based on the sacredness of the human being as an individual, centered on the improvement of the material conditions of each person as well as the motto “mobilize, organize, transform”.
Seth Kikuni announced that he would be a presidential candidate in 2018, with the objective of working to create favorable conditions for the consecration of the sacredness of each person, the improvement of their material conditions and the emergence of the DRC.
Politics for the “Piste Pour l’Émergence” party will not be a field where they will put personal interest ahead of the collective interest, nor a waiting room where they will renounce their principles and deep convictions in the name of agreements. obscure. Nor will politics be a place of sterile debates or entertainment with those who change form, disguise according to the situation.
The DRC is on the way to emergence, but for that, committed actors are needed to establish a climate of trust, stability and security. The “Piste Pour l’Émergence” party is one of those actors for whom the sacredness of each individual is essential, with the aim of uniting the Congolese around new solutions for the development of their country.
