“Kinshasa launches a social dialogue for an industrialization master plan: the details not to be missed”

The city of Kinshasa has launched the first stage of an important social dialogue on the appropriation of the Industrialization Master Plan of the Democratic Republic of Congo. During this event, the Minister of Industry presented the two major documents that will constitute the compass of this project: the Industrial Policy and Strategy Document and the Industrialization Master Plan – PDI.

To support this industrial policy, the Congolese Government has chosen to implement the policy of development of Special Economic Zones in the country, the first being that of Maluku according to the comments of the Minister of Industry.

The return of Bourgmestre Godet ATSWEL-OKEL MUNTUNGI is demanded by the citizens of Kisenso, and the Minister has promised to report on this issue to the Government.

The social dialogue will be continued in other communes of the capital Kinshasa. This initiative aims to diversify the Congolese economy to create jobs and enrich the population.
