Among the validated applications, female candidates stood out, demonstrating their determination to fully engage in public life. These courageous women overcame obstacles and stereotypes to position themselves as essential agents of political change.
It is essential to salute these women who dare to run as candidates and to recognize their contribution to democracy and gender equality. Their active participation in the electoral process is an important step towards a more balanced representation within political institutions.
However, it is important to emphasize that despite these advances, there is still a lot of work to be done to achieve true parity in the political sphere. It is necessary to encourage more women to enter politics, to put in place policies to encourage their participation and to fight against discrimination and prejudice.
Women’s participation in politics does not only benefit women themselves, but society as a whole. Their unique perspectives and experiences allow for richer debate and more inclusive and informed decision-making.
