Public administration in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) continues to innovate and modernize thanks to a new initiative launched by the Deputy Prime Minister of Public Service. This is the public service web portal, called “Public Service na Tshombo”, a digital application that allows state officials to have access to their general situation in real time.
This initiative is part of the vision of the Congolese head of state to digitize the country’s public administration. By launching this portal, the Deputy Prime Minister wishes to improve the quality of public services and facilitate access to information for all citizens and public administration agents.
This portal was designed with three main objectives: the dematerialization of administrative procedures, transparency and communication. Thus, civil servants will be able to submit their problems and follow the processing of their file in real time without having to physically travel. This innovation therefore facilitates various tasks and offers greater efficiency in the work of state officials.
The Minister of Civil Service encourages all civil servants throughout the Congolese territory to use this secure portal, which represents a significant step forward in the modernization of public administration.
The introduction of this civil service web portal in the DRC marks an important step in the process of digitization and modernization of the country’s public administration. It bears witness to the Congolese government’s commitment to improving the quality of public services and facilitating access to information for all citizens. This initiative will certainly contribute to better management of the State’s human resources and greater transparency in the Congolese public administration
