The “MUSALA” trades center is part of the “Kin emploi” project, which aims to support the development of employability and entrepreneurship in Kinshasa. With a vision to prepare nearly 5,000 young Kinshasa people for employability by 2025, this project represents real hope for Congolese youth who are looking for opportunities to build their professional future.
The sectors offered: processing, agri-food and digital learning:
The “MUSALA” city of trades will focus on three main sectors: processing, agri-food and digital learning dedicated to agricultural promotion. These sectors were chosen according to the specific needs of the city of Kinshasa. The objective is to offer practical training adapted to the needs of the labor market, while promoting the development of sectors with high added value and job creation.
A complementary project to fight against youth unemployment:
With an estimated cost of 10,000,000 euros, the “Kin emploi” project and the “MUSALA” resource center aim to reduce the unemployment rate among young Congolese, especially women. The construction of this city of trades offers a real opportunity for training and acquisition of skills for young people who aspire to better professional integration. It is also a means of combating certain social scourges such as alcoholism, drugs, prostitution and banditry, which are rampant in the neighboring communes of Mombele.
