Introduction:

As part of the economic and social development program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo gave instructions for the completion of the national road N°5 (RN 5) linking Bukavu to Kamaniola, in the province of South Kivu. This work, launched under the supervision of the Minister of State for Infrastructure and Public Works, Alexis Gisaro, aims to improve the living and economic conditions of the local population.

Development:

The population of the region has long suffered from the absence of this road, often having to go through neighboring countries, such as Rwanda, to reach the two cities. This unacceptable situation motivated President Tshisekedi to take concrete measures to remedy the situation. Thus, on the instruction of the Head of State, Minister Gisaro launched the work to complete this essential road.

The completion of the RN 5 road therefore represents an important step in the realization of President Tshisekedi’s vision of improving the living conditions of the Congolese population. Minister Gisaro, accompanied by his Budget colleague, Aimé Boji, stressed the importance of this project to meet the aspirations of the people.

The launch of these works puts an end to the isolation of the population, by creating a direct connection between the towns of Bukavu and Kamaniola. This will promote the economic development of the region, opening up new business opportunities and facilitating the transport of goods and people.

Conclusion:

The launch of work to complete the RN 5 road between Bukavu and Kamaniola marks a major step forward in the socio-economic development of the province of South Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This initiative, initiated by President Tshisekedi, aims to improve the living conditions of the population by creating better accessibility between cities. This is an important step in realizing the President’s vision to transform the country and create an enabling environment for economic and social development
