Title: The budding national genius competition: an exciting intellectual challenge for Congolese students
Introduction :
The School Support Center for the Training of the Elite in Congo (CASFEC ONGD) is organizing a national competition of the budding genius type, bringing together the winners of the regional Kinshasa, Kongo-Central and Kwilu. This competition, which began on July 19, highlights the knowledge and intellectual abilities of students, while promoting the spirit of competition and exchange between participating schools. In this article, we offer you an overview of the results of the first day of this competition and the prospects for the final which will take place the following day.
The intellectual challenge between schools:
The first day of the competition saw the COLLÈGE BOBOTO of Kinshasa and the COLLÈGE KUBAMA of Kongo-Central compete. The two schools, both managed by the Jesuit Fathers, offered a remarkable performance in terms of speed and knowledge in different fields. Despite a timid start, the Kubama college students were able to recover, but unfortunately could not catch up with the Boboto College students who won with a score of 245 against 200.
An unequivocal domination:
In the second match, the Boboto College continued its momentum by facing the Kwilu college students. Full of confidence and avoiding any form of shame, the students of Boboto easily won with a score of 395 against 160 for IDAP-ISP.
The long-awaited final:
The third match between IDAP-ISP and COLLÈGE KUBAMA determined the finalists of this competition. KUBAMA COLLEGE won with an overwhelming score of 255 against 50, thus confirming their place in the final.
The provisional results of the group:
At the end of this first day, Boboto College occupies first place in the group with 6 points, followed by Kubama College with 3 points and IDAP-ISP with 0 points.
