The new heads of the North Kivu sectors in the Democratic Republic of Congo were recently announced by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, Security and Customary Affairs. This decision comes within the framework of a decree signed on July 18, 2023, aimed at renewing the sectoral administrations in the various provinces of the country.
In the territory of Beni, in North Kivu, two major changes have been made. First of all, in the Ruwenzori sector, Kasereka Mapathi Japhet replaces Mr. Boozi Sindiwako Bin Vuhaka, who held this position for more than 12 years. This change of leadership brings a breath of fresh air to the sectoral administration of Ruwenzori.
In addition, in the Beni-Mbau sector, Kakule Bulembo Pascal is taking charge, succeeding Paluku Lumande Remy. This change of sector manager opens the way to new perspectives and a different management of local issues.
