The two victims were found dead the next day, Thursday July 13.

This tragic event was revealed by Omar Kalisya, a civil society member from Beni, who pointed out that the population had already reported the presence of rebels in the area. He therefore calls on the army to strengthen its mechanism for dealing with alerts, in order to prevent such deadly attacks in the future.
