This Friday, July 14, the men’s basketball Leopards of the DRC, reigning champions, suffered a defeat against the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the semi-final of the 2nd edition of AfroCan, Angola 2023. Despite a resistance in the last quarters, the Congolese have not managed to reverse the situation and have seen their hopes of winning the title fly away.

The game :
The Atlas Lions quickly gained the upper hand by taking advantage of the errors and precipitation of the Leopards during the first two quarters. With scores of 17-22 and 14-21 in favor of Morocco, the DRC found themselves in difficulty from the start of the match.
