News: An attack attributed to Ugandan terrorists ADF kills several people in Musandaba
The village of Musandaba was the scene of a deadly attack on the night of Friday to Saturday, caused by Ugandan terrorists from the ADF (Allied Democratic Forces). According to the head of the Buliki groupement, of the Rwenzori sector, the attack led to the death of three civilians and the kidnapping of another. All the victims were men who were brutally executed with machetes in their fields.
The population of Lisasa and the surrounding area lives in fear and desolation after this attack perpetrated by the ADF. The bodies of the victims were repatriated to their villages of origin, causing deep consternation among the inhabitants.
Following this tragedy, the population pleads for the installation of a military position in Livano, considered as the main passage taken by the ADF coming from Graben. This security measure would prevent future attacks and protect the civilian population who live in constant fear of terrorist actions.
This attack underscores once again the persistent threat posed by the ADF in the region. It is essential that the competent authorities intensify their efforts to neutralize these terrorist groups and guarantee the safety of the local populations
