Delly Sessanga on a political tour in Bandundu: Mobilization and commitment for the elections
Delly Sessanga, president of the political party Together of the volunteers for the recovery of Congo (ENVOL), recently undertook a political tour in the city of Bandundu, capital of the province of Kwilu. This visit is part of his “Refoundation of Congo” campaign, aimed at mobilizing voters and promoting his candidacy for the next presidential election.
Upon arrival at Bandundu National Airport, Delly Sessanga was warmly welcomed by a crowd of supporters. He then walked the streets of the city in the company of his activists before holding a meeting.
In his speech, Delly Sessanga called on the people of Bandundu not to give in to calls for a boycott of the elections. He stressed the importance of actively participating in the electoral process to avoid giving a bulwark to the power in place. He encouraged all residents to go to the polling stations and remain present until the ballots were counted, in order to guarantee the transparency and integrity of the ballot.
Delly Sessanga also announced that the year 2023 would not be like 2018, referring to previous elections. He urged the people of Bandundu to mobilize massively and elect new leaders in order to restore the country.
The “Refoundation of the Congo”, Delly Sessanga’s electoral program, emphasizes five major axes: security and national independence, employment of young people, general unity, rehabilitation of the general interest and sense of the common good, as well as the reaffirmation of the primacy and centrality of the state.
This visit by Delly Sessanga to Bandundu testifies to his commitment and determination to mobilize the Congolese for the next elections. With his fervent rhetoric and his will to make things happen, he seeks to engage voters and build a better future for Congo.
