The Church of Jesus Christ on Earth by His Envoy Simon Kimbangu (EJCSK), Mbanza-Ngungu Central Parish, recently celebrated the 105th anniversary of the birth of Joseph Diangienda Kuntima, one of the spiritual leaders and son of the Prophet Kimbangu. Organized with the support of the Zua Idée Forever Association and sponsored by Cédric Matuatambula Kua Nzambi, president of the said association, the competition aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of Kimbanguism as well as scientific subjects. The preliminary rounds of the competition began in April, with more than 100 applicants, and culminated in a final where 25 students competed to win the title.
Beyond the competitive aspect, this event was an opportunity for the Association Zua Idée Forever to highlight its commitment to youth and its support for the initiatives of the Kimbanguist church. Mak Matondo Kua Nzambi, Provincial Minister of Mines, Transport and Communication Channels of Kongo Central, member of the association, underlined the importance of this kind of cultural activities in the province and expressed his support for their sustainability.
Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Dina of the Single Division of Cataracts also welcomed the organization of the contest and encouraged the holding of such activities for the Kimbanguist Youth Union. He underlined the importance of the participation of young people in cultural events and expressed his gratitude to the sponsors, in particular the Association Zua Idée Forever, for their support and contributions.
