Donation of loincloths to women: To celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the accession of the Democratic Republic of Congo to its national and international sovereignty, the provincial deputy Passy Moleka Belito initiated a symbolic action by offering loincloths to the women of his foundation as well as to the members of the UDPS. This highly symbolic gesture is part of the context of the 4 years of existence of its foundation and aims to honor the contribution of Congolese women in the construction of the nation.
During a ceremony bringing together more than 600 women, Passy Moleka Belito also highlighted the achievements of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi across the country, particularly in the territory of Sakania. Projects such as the construction of the Kasumbalesa-Mokambo and Sakania road, the construction of the dry port in Lukangaba as well as the opening of new roads were welcomed. In this perspective, the deputy affirmed that the renewal of Felix Tshisekedi at the head of the country during the next elections would be necessary to continue these achievements and guarantee sustainable development.
In addition, Passy Moleka Belito announced that during his parliamentary vacation he will carry out a rigorous control of the management of the city. Accompanied by the population, he will go to the town hall for a meeting followed by a thorough check of the achievements, entries and taxes collected. This initiative aims to guarantee transparency and efficiency in the management of State resources, thus emphasizing the responsibility and duty of elected officials towards the population.
It is important to emphasize that the role of an MP is not limited to the construction of infrastructure, but also encompasses the control and monitoring of the activities of public services. As a representative of the people, Passy Moleka Belito takes his role as controller seriously and is committed to ensuring that the city’s resources are used efficiently and for the benefit of all.
In conclusion, the donation of loincloths to women symbolizes the recognition of their contribution to Congolese society, while the rigorous control of the management of the city demonstrates Passy Moleka Belito’s commitment to transparency and sustainable development. These actions bear witness to the involvement of elected officials in meeting the needs of the population and in building a better future for the Democratic Republic of Congo
