The Community of the Assemblies of God in Congo (CADC) is preparing for the celebrations of the Independence Day of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) this June 30th. The occasion will also be for the faithful of this church to come together for a program of fasting and prayer from June 28 to 30, 2023, under the theme: “For the love of Zion, I will not be silent”, taken from book of Isaiah 62:1.
During these three days, the Christian communities will entrust the Congolese nation into the hands of the Lord and will pray for unity and peace throughout the territory, especially in the eastern and western regions of the country where insecurity prevails.
Prayer meetings will be held on June 28 and 29 at church time from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On the last day, June 30, a large gathering is planned to bring together all Christians at the esplanade of the People’s Palace, a symbolic place where the nation’s major decisions are made, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The Philadelphia Mission Center (MPC), a local CDAC church, is responsible for organizing this activity. Since its foundation in 2008 by the apostle Roland DALO, this church has given itself the mission of preparing Christians to meet the bridegroom by announcing a message centered on consecration, growth and spiritual maturity.
Pastor Ken LUAMBA, titular pastor and coordinator of all existing extensions of the CMP throughout the world, invites all those who are attached to the Democratic Republic of Congo to unite in prayer and fasting to implore grace and favor of God.
