The Leopards of the DRC are preparing their participation in the 2nd edition of the AfroCan Basketball in Luanda, Angola. And despite the financial and logistical difficulties facing the Congolese team, the players remain determined to retain their title of African champions.
Congolese international player Bobo Kasasa regretted the lack of support from government authorities. Nevertheless, the Leopards of the DRC have a great experience in preparing for competitions despite the precarious conditions and seek to defend their title of African champions won in 2019 in Bamako, Mali.
The defending champions are determined to win the competition despite being in a tough group of Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions and Mozambique’s Mamba. Will they be able to repeat the feat of the first edition or even do better? We will closely follow their performance in Luanda.
