“Harish Jagtani and his foundation are committed to the victims of the landslide in South Kivu: more than 80 tons of humanitarian aid delivered”

The international community has mobilized to help the victims of the landslide in South Kivu in DR Congo. Following this disaster which caused material and human damage, the businessman Harish Jagtani took the decision to assist the victims through food and non-food assistance. This is how his foundation mobilized more than 80 tons of food and essential equipment which were sent to the victims.

A mobile clinic with a team of doctors has been set up on site for the free treatment of the sick, in particular the injured following this natural disaster which left hundreds dead and thousands missing.

This gesture of solidarity by the businessman Harish Jagtani and the mobilization of the international community were warmly welcomed by the victims present at the ceremony to hand over the assistance. The inhabitants of Kalehe as well as their chiefs expressed their sincere thanks to the foundation of Harish Jagtani which made it possible to relieve their misery and to make more dignified the funerals of some missing compatriots.
