The DRC is experiencing strong moments in its political history. Indeed, for the past few weeks, tensions have been very high between the opposition and the CENI, against the backdrop of electoral files. Faced with this tense situation, the Congolese opposition is calling for peaceful mobilization and organizing marches to save the electoral process. Moreover, the sacred union of the nation created by the political cadres has given birth to a digital army to defend their image and their interests.
On the economic side, the head of government presented his guidelines for the development of the country during a conference on the modernization of ports in the DRC. The country is also multiplying international partnerships, such as the one with Indonesia to modernize the Congolese army.
Regarding the political landscape, Lisanga Bonganga, a versatile personality, is a key player in political stability in the DRC.
Finally, last but not least, the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi, reaffirms his will to impose peace in the east of the country despite the terrorist attacks of the M23 supported by Rwanda.
Also in the news, Pascal Nkanga, secretary general of the party “Agissons pour la République” (AREP), was welcomed by a tide of people in Mbandaka to preach the unity of Ecuadorians. He also invited the inhabitants to renew their confidence in Félix Tshisekedi during the next presidential election.
These major events thus punctuate the political, economic and social life of the DRC, which faces major challenges to assert itself on the international scene.
